Mobile camps move at varying points in the year to ensure that the location is within easy distance to the herds, as they continue to move through the Serengeti. There is even the option to follow the migration herds on foot, on thrilling walking safaris. The camps are inclusive and informal, offering the solo traveller the option of sharing meals and game drives with like-minded guests, should they wish. At the same time, however, the solo traveller has the option of private game vehicles and opportunities for quiet solitude, albeit potentially in the company of thousands of wildebeest.
