You will start in Hwange National Park, probably Zimbabwe's most famous park, and known for its huge herds of buffalo and elephant. Staying at The Hide, you will be in a prime position in the park with fantastic game viewing right on your doorstep. Your next stop will be Changa Safari Camp in a remote area of the Matusadona National Park, located in the heart of Lake Kariba. With nearly 4km of lakeshore frontage, it's a unique safari experience, enjoyed through morning and afternoon game drives, fishing and game walks. Mana Pools National Park is next, with a stay at John's Camp on the banks of the Zambezi River. After adventurous days of driving and walking, enjoy sundowners with hippos on the banks of the river and dine under the stars. Conclude your adventure at Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge on the edge of Gonarezhou National Park. Gonarezhou means 'place of the elephants' and the park is home to over 8000 of them. It's one of Africa's last remaining pristine wildernesses with red sandstone, thorny scrub and baobabs. There are exhilarating game drives to enjoy, or you can choose to take it easy and wait for the wildlife and birds to come to you.
