After a night in Entebbe you and your guide will being the panoramic drive northwest with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary enroute. At Paraa Safari Lodge at Murchison Falls National Park, you will enjoy a Big 5 safari by both game vehicle and boat. You can also choose to hike to the top of the Murchison Falls and from this vantage point you will watch the Nile forced through a seven-meter cleft in the rocks and plunge 45 meters below, forming a spectacular rainbow.
Continue the journey towards Primate Lodge near to Kibale forest, driving through farmlands and homesteads. At Kibale National Park you will go chimpanzee tracking and learn about the forest's other fauna and flora. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters.
Moving on to a vastly different landscape, largely open savannas, you will stay in two different areas of Queen Elizabeth National Park. At Mweya Lodge you will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of animals from game drive vehicles as well as a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Wildlife in the park include lion, elephant, cape buffalo, warthog, leopard, hyena, mongoose, waterbuck, Ugandan Kob, hippo and prolific bird life. Whilst staying at Ishasha Wilderness Camp in the Ishasha sector of the park, look out for the tree climbing lions which are unique to this region.
It's then time for your gorilla tracking experience staying at Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi National Park. During your Gorilla Tracking, experienced wildlife guides, along with trackers and porters, will accompany you through the ever-green forest. The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, leads you to lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After finding the gorillas, you will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities.
