This unique camp, accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite tents, captures the romance and adventure of the glorious Golden Age of safaris. Here, your family or group of friends can enjoy the comforts of 21st century camping, but with the thrill of having nothing but canvas between you, the Masai Mara and wildlife right on your doorstep. You will find yourself asking, 'All this just for me?'

Each of the 4 ensuite guest tents have been designed for landscape orientation to maximise the light and views across the plains. Each uncluttered and fresh tent features an extra king-length bed, dressing room, writing desk, vanity, separate bathroom, and the playful addition of double bucket showers. The tents are quite unique in appearance created through a playful and unusual roof shape. Designed with maximum cross ventilation and a four-layer roof system, the tents are cooler than other tents of this vein. Design features include natural fibres, gold, black and white, rural weaving, quilting and Masai red. Brass items add glamour to the honest simplicity of this camp.

The cosy and charming interior guest area is a place to come together to relax with a good book or a delicious meal cooked over the coals. Outside is a little gazebo, open on all four sides but shaded on top - the perfect place for a mid-afternoon tea or family lunch.

What you do with your time at Angama Safari Camp is entirely up to you: Watch the sun set, stare at the fire, take a nap, listen to the birds, read, relax in the red rocker, cook over the coals; breathe the fresh air and count the stars. When you are ready for safari adventures, your dedicated safari guide and vehicle await. You will have unconstrained freedom and no one day will be the same as the one before. You and your loved ones may wish to set off in the early morning to watch the sunrise in the Mara, enjoying breakfast and lunch picnic-style under a fig tree somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Or enjoy a morning game drive and then return to camp for a long lazy lunch and a siesta - the choice is all yours. Spend your evenings dining under the stars and sharing stories around the campfire and fall asleep listening to the nocturnal silence of the wilderness punctuated by the sounds of lion and hyena calling.

At Angama Safari Camp you will have your camp host, chef and a team of butlers, kitchen staff and askaris to ensure every detail is taken care of. Your meals will be tailored to your requirements and prepared using the freshest ingredients. The choice is yours, whether you would like an individually packed picnic under a tree somewhere in the middle of the Masai Mara, or snacks shared around the campfire as the chef cooks dinner on the coals, the food will always simple but beautifully presented by the friendly and experienced team.
