This rustic camp is found within the 15000 acre Selenkay Conservancy - a private slice of wilderness nearby Amboseli National Park. A true back to nature experience, the camp offers is a superb gateway to some of Africa's most famous wildlife.
Stay in small insect proof dome tents, which are set under wooden awnings. Tents are a 10ft x 10ft square and 6ft high, with interiors roomy enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. Situated behind each tent there are cubicles housing each tent's private bathroom - bathrooms features a safari shower, flushing toilet and wash basin. Pillows are provided although guests must supply their own sleeping bag and towels.
Meals from camp are delicious and prepared by an experienced safari cook - enjoy tasty picnics when on safari in the Amboseli National Park. Discover a wide variety of wildlife with big cats and elephants joined by zebra, antelope, giraffe, African wildcat and lesser kudu. To spot such outstanding wildlife exciting game drives are led by incredible Maasai guides. While a simple camp, Selenkay makes up for its lack of luxury with phenomenal game viewing and an authentic safari experience.
How to get to Gamewatchers Adventure Camp
Daily scheduled light aircraft flights from Wilson Airport Nairobi to the nearby Selenkay airstrip or Amboseli airstrip, followed by a transfer to camp.
