Hemingways Watamu is situated on Kenya's Watamu Bay, voted by the Sunday Times as being one of the top 10 beaches in the world. With its perfectly clear waters and golden sandy beaches it is easy to see why. Part of the Watamu Marine Park, Hemingways is great for scuba diving and snorkelling among tropical reefs but Hemingways is most famous for its big game fishing. With a fabulous day spa, a wide array of international cuisines, numerous water sports and activities, plus a traditional Arabic dhow, this is the perfect way to encounter Kenya's coast.
The resort has 70 luxury bedrooms and 6 private suites all with ocean views and within yards of the beach. Each has a balcony or veranda, air-conditioning, fans, mosquito nets and fridge. The suites are larger with the best views. The hotel's amenities include a restaurant and bar, children's playground, garden, gym, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and airport shuttle service.
