Kicheche Laikipia Camp is an intimate tented camp where Andy and Sonia play host to only 12 guests. Nestled at the foot of indigenous forest and overlooking a waterhole in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the camp affords stunning views of Mount Kenya.
Kicheche is located in the Wilderness zone of the Conservancy and with only one bed per 1,500 acres offers an incredibly private experience. Laikipia is home to Kenya's largest population of Black Rhino, elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard as well as rarer species such as Grevys Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest and Beisa Oryx.
Laikipia Camp offers 6 splendid tents which are fully insect-proof with en-suite bathrooms and equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and hot showers. A larger family tent is also available. There is a spacious well-furnished lounge and dining tent with fireplaces for cooler evenings. This main tent faces out upon a large waterhole and provides a great place to relax and observe the many happenings of the surrounding wilderness.
