The staff were all very friendly, and went to a lot of trouble to make our stay special. As they knew it was our honeymoon, they arranged romantic meals specially for us, and showed a real pride in their work deservedly. The camp itself is also spectacular. We had a "Superior view tent", which was stunning, and looked out over the savannah. We saw a great deal of wildlife from our tent, both within and without the camp, and the resident warthogs and monkeys were particularly delightful. Food was excellent, and although we were slightly concerned about vegetarian options for my wife our concerns were allayed. There were always delicious vegetarian and meat options, and because it is a buffet style restaurant you can easily pick and choose what you want. The added bonus of a dedicated waiter to make sure that everything was alright with meals, and who learned our preferences and catered for them very early on, was fantastic, Delivery of coffee, tea etc. to the tent first thing before game drives was also a lovely touch. Our room was kept spotless throughout, despite our best efforts, by the lovely and thoughtful butler, who was always careful to ensure he did not disturb or interrupt us while carrying out his work. The guides we had during our stay were fantastic, and both displayed a great knowledge and insight into the wildlife. We went on a walking safari as well as the normal trucks, which was an amazing experience, and also gave us a chance to learn more about the local flora and how the Maasai use indigenous plants for day to day activities, which was fascinating.

Kitchwa Tembo was a fantastic place. We stayed in a 2 person tent overlooking the savannah plains. The tent/room was very well equipped with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. We had a stunning view from the front of our tent and could see elephants, giraffes, lions and many other varieties of wildlife from there. We has a butler who kept our room really well, delivered tea/coffee in the morning and even put hot water bottles in the bed! The food was delicious and a lot of it was home grown. We had the same waiter every day called Joel who was brilliant and was always very helpful. There was 24hr security in the camp incase of wildlife and the camp was surrounded by a electric fence. The best part of this place was our ranger called Wilson. He really made the trip for us. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the wildlife on our twice daily game drives was very impressive. He made big efforts to allow us to make the most of our game drives and see a lot of wildlife up close. The Masai mara really is a stunning place, I really don't know how we could top it!

We loved the hospitality that was present right from the time we stepped off of the airplane! We were met with drinks, snacks, and smiles! Upon arrival to the camp, they danced, sang, and welcomed us! Again, I think I started to cry! On our last night, they arranged a perfect dinner for us. It was set in their treehouse and was decorated with rose petals and candles. It was such a beautiful experience and we loved every minute of our time there! We loved the little details like a heating pad under our sheets at night, along with a phrase in swahili on our pillows that said things like, "Sleep like a princess," and, "Sleep like a lion." It was just all so well put together and wonderful!! We loved the little warthog family that runs around the lawn while you eat! It was so precious!!

Very nice place, great food and hospitality. Only thing that happened was that there was stolen 150 dollars from our room.

This place is amazing. The lodgings were incredibly lux and the food outstanding. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful; one night, the staff set a romantic candle-lit rose petal sprinkled table for us for dinner. It was so unexpected and beautiful. Our safari guide, Jackson, was extremely knowledgeable and we were pleased with the extra excursions available here, including the river hike, the escarpment hike, a bird-spotting walk, and the morning hot air balloon ride. We really, really enjoyed our stay.
