Located north of Samburu National Reserve in Kenya's wild north, Saruni Samburu is a 'design' lodge surrounded by 240,000 acres of private wildlife conservancy. Perched on a spectacular viewpoint with an all-round view of Northern Kenya all the way to the snow-covered Mount Kenya, Saruni Samburu has 6 villas, a lounge, dining room and two infinity pools, with the lodge overlooking a waterhole where elephant, leopard, reticulated giraffe, Oryx and Grevy's zebra gather to drink.

The 6 villas (4 of which are large family villas) have luxurious interiors, open-sided walls and canvas-shaded decks. Saruni Samburu is renowned for delicious cuisine and each villa has its own dining area, offering self-contained privacy and magnificent views.

Getting There

Kalama Airstrip is a 30 minute drive from the lodge.

We could not have done better. The staff was warm and welcoming. We were cared for as though we were honored family. Our villa was spacious and the views from the 180 degree deck was priceless.
