Discover Lewa House

Lewa House is a private house situated within the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a 45,000-acre wildlife conservancy in Kenya's northern Laikipia region. The property offers panoramic views of not only Mount Kenya but also the sacred mountain of the Samburu tribe, Ol Lolokwe. The Lewa Conservancy offers some of the best game viewing in East Africa.

The accommodation on offer is cottage-style rooms which are spread out along the hillside with wonderful views. There are 3 thatched family cottages, each with two rooms and a large shared veranda, and 4 single room cottages (or earth pods). The heart of the house is a large elegant building offering an open fireplace where you can relax during the day and mingle with a drink before dinner. At the other end is a large family dining table with the evening meals are served and hosted by owners Sophie and Calum. Surrounding the house are beautiful shaded gardens where breakfast or lunch is often served on the lawn. Lewa House also has a large swimming pool which overlooks a waterhole providing some of the best wildlife view on the conservancy.
