Asilia Encounter Mara Camp is set on the edge of the savannah under the shade of acacia trees. It's a 10-tent camp within the private Mara Naboisho Conservancy, bordering the famed Maasai Mara reserve.
Surrounded by an acacia forest, this traditional tented camp offers views of the vast savannah from the comfort of an armchair. Each of the tents are equipped with basic modern amenities; enjoy a hot, safari-style bucket shower in the en-suite bathroom, or relax on the day bed while taking in the view. From Encounter Mara, you can go on game drives, nature walks around camp, or soar across the plains in a hot-air balloon. The camp is designed to be as open as possible, so you can take in the sights and sounds of the Mara during meals or afternoon siestas.

Holiday to Asilia Encounter Mara
The food, the staff, the camp… all 10/10. The best food we had on the trip. The staff waited on us hand and foot. From wake-up calls with coffee to singing and dancing and just spoiling us, we did not want to leave.
Best showers and the fastest wifi of all the camps. It was great to see how things work in Kenya. The food was great and the staff was super friendly. :)
Dixon was the greatest! We learned soo much about his culture, the animals and the land, it was great. He too was very good with the children. The food was great and the setting of the meals was very fun.
While we enjoyed Encounter Mara, we didn’t feel the same vibe here as Ol Pejeta. We felt a little more like we were on a conveyor belt of guests and with slight disinterest from management.
