A member of the well-known Governors’ Safaris, Governors' Il Moran Camp is the camp for those wanting that extra bit of luxury. It is small and intimate with only 10 tents which line the winding banks of the Mara River in Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara Reserve. It is the ideal camp for honeymooners and couples, or families with older children.
Each of the 10 luxurious safari tents has a private veranda, ensuite bathroom with bath and a large shower. You will dine on the raised wooden decking of the main mess and dining tent which offers a birds’ eye view of the snorting hippos below. The main feature is a sunken fire pit which is lit in the evenings – the perfect spot to sit back with a cocktail of your choice. In between your safari activities you can request a spa treatment in the privacy of your own tent.
Stay for 6 nights and only pay for 5 nights. Stay for 8 nights and only pay for 6 nights. These offers are valid between 01 January - 31 May 2025. Terms and conditions apply.

holiday to Governors' Il Moran Camp
The guides were so good for us. They were able to show us everything and they really knew what they were talking about. The camp staff also blew us out of the water. The best part of the trip hands down, could not be more happier with this experience.
Il Moran Camp was excellent with great, spacious and very comfortable tents. Lots of space between the tents, excellent game drives/guides as-well as great food. Can't fault anything about the facility.
