Saruni Rhino is situated in the wild and undiscovered northern frontier of Kenya in the Sera Community Conservancy, a vast untouched wilderness of more than 350,000 hectares. The camp offers East Africa's first rhino tracking experience, a uniquely thrilling walking safari that also allows the participants to actively contribute to the protection of the rhinos.
The camp is comprised of 3 rustic stone cottages known as 'bandas' - 2 double units and 1 family unit - sleeping a total of 8 guests. There is also a main 'mess' cottage for dining and relaxing. Nestled amidst swaying doum palms dotted along a dry river bed, Saruni Rhino has sweeping views of the nearby waterhole and dramatic landscape that is so typical in the north of Kenya. There is also a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the surrounding landscape. You can enjoy a wide variety of wildlife from the comfort of your cottage's sandy veranda where anything from elephant, Grevy's zebra, impala, hyena and a host of birdlife can be spotted drinking from the waterhole. The dry river bed is the camp's evening restaurant where a torch-lit bush dinner is served under the vast African skies.
