The islet of Tsarabanjina is seen as sacred by the local people of the Mitsio island, featuring the tomb of the Sakalava kings. The people of the Mitsio islands venerate the islet and bring their off erings (money, honey and rum).

The resort has 25 villas divided between two beaches (13 on the North Beach and 12 on the South Beach). With ecological palm thatch, the villas are airy and elegantly decorated with four-poster beds and a terrace for sunbathing or star gazing. All face the azure waters of the Indian Ocean so guests can admire the views from a hammock or lounger. Perfect for an exclusive island honeymoon, guests can enjoy cocktails on the deck while watching the sunset, experience a couples massage or have a private candlelit dinner on the beach .

Tsarabanjina is all-inclusive, allowing guests to feast on fresh seafood and Malagasy specialties, all made with local and fresh produce, without counting the pennies. Guests can even catch their own fish for dinner; a truely unique experience.

Through a host of activities, guests can explore the island and it's unique biodiversity on land and in the sea. Once guests have finished exploring, a massage on the beautiful red rocks in the open air is the perfect way to end a day.
