Situated on the south of the secluded Nosy Komba in the Nosy Be Archipelago, Tsara Komba Lodge is a luxurious eco-lodge and one of National Geographic's Unique Lodges of the World. This tropical oasis is surrounded by deep turquoise waters and lush tropical rainforest and botanical gardens - home to lemurs, chameleons, hummingbirds and parrots. Offshore you may spot dolphins, turtles and whales.
The only method of travel is by foot, pirogue (dugout canoe) or boat - the ultimate escape from the outside world.
With just 8 lodges nestled between the forest and beach, guests are guaranteed exclusivity and privacy. Each lodge has been built to blend in with the natural surroundings and furnished with local materials such as exotic woods, Malagasy antiques and artworks. Each lodge is just a stone's throw to the beautiful beach where guests can relax on the sun loungers on the golden sand or under the shady palm trees.
Tsara Komba Lodge has its own restaurant with a menu that blends eastern and western flavours and made up of freshly caught seafood from local fishermen and organic fruit and vegetables grown in the lodge's garden. Within the main lodge there is also a bar and lounges as well as terraces with stunning views.
