Situated in the untouched north-western region of Madagascar, the area of Anjajavy is a beach paradise on the Mozambique Channel. Very remote and with an astonishingly beautiful coastline, Anjajavy is a fishing village made up of azure waters, pristine wilderness beaches and coral reefs, all backed by mangroves, deciduous forests and tsingy limestone.
Anjajavy L'Hotel protects 450 ha of dry deciduous forest with unique baobabs and other endemic plants. Effortless wildlife viewing is the highlight of the area. Lemur tracking may include sightings of edwarsi lepilemur, grewcockrum lepilemur, Coquerel's Sifakas and other lemurs. There are flocks of endemic birds including Sickle-Billed Vangas, Crested Ibises, Crested Couas, Grey-Headed Lovebirds, Madagascar Fish Eagles and Vasa Parrots.
Explore the deserted inlets, shady paths and mysterious caves on walking tours and then head out onto the water for fishing, water skiing, snorkelling, kayaking and boat trips on the sea or in the mangrove. There's also the chance to visit the neighbouring villages.
