Situated on the western shores of Lake Malawi, Chintheche Inn offers stunning vistas over the lake - sunsets are particularly special. The lodge is a laid back venture to the shores of the famous lake with a sandy beach and local fishing villages nearby dot the coastline.
The property holds 10 en-suite rooms and one suite with all rooms overlooking and opening out onto the beach. Bathrooms consist of flush toilets, a shower and a number of toiletries. Guests will also find a cottage that can sleep up to 5 people.
Sit out on the veranda and admire the view, which extends from the dining area that is abandoned in fair weather for the al fresco dining on the lawn. The main lounge area is coupled with the bar - it's well-furnished and a fireplace offers some cosy charm. There's also a pool to enjoy which overlooks the large white sands of the beach. Take to your lounger, with umbrella in tow and relax with the sound of the lake and the Malawian sun. Take on a number of water sports (from a nearby island you can also go snorkelling) and guided mountain bike trails.
