A private beach resort, Amari Havodda is situated in one of the most untouched archipelago's of the Maldives, Gaafu Dhaalu atoll in the far south. Secluded and exotic, your paradise island embraces the natural beauty of nature, surrounded by turquoise lagoons with rich, colourful marine life.
Enveloped by stunning nature and pristine scenery, Amari Havodda is a private island hideaway where just 120 guest villas have been inspired by traditional Maldivian lifestyle and contemporary architecture. It is a perfect choice for a holiday in the Maldives. Broadly, there are two principle villa types - either Beach or Overwater; some have their own plunge pool and all have open-air private bathroom, an outdoor terrace and enjoy complimentary Wifi. The Sunset Beach Villas have a particularly beautiful setting.
Dining is a delight at Amari Maldives. Amaya Food Gallery, the main all-day dining restaurant, showcases live cooking from open kitchens, from Thai delights to international favourites. Ember Robatayaki interprets the centuries-old Japanese culinary tradition of 'fireside cooking' and offers barbecued seafood and prime cuts in a wonderful beachside setting. There's also a pizza pavilion for snacks throughout the day. Of the resort's two bars, the intimate west-facing Iru Beach Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing sundowner at the end of the day while embracing the sunset against the distant horizon.
A key attraction at Amari Havodda Maldives is the house reef which is just a short snorkel away. There's a water sports and dive centre which can arrange excursions, while land activities include a floodlit tennis court, fitness centre and the Breeze Spa. The main infinity swimming pool has a spectacular beachside setting and includes a separate children's pool. The island's Kids Club offers a babysitting service.
Amari Havodda is the perfect tropical paradise, surrounded by turquoise lagoons teeming with marine life, and is an idyllic choice for a Maldives honeymoon.
Approximately 55min domestic flight from Male International Airport to Kaadedhdoo Airport followed by a 15min speedboat ride to the resort.
Water sport activities including snorkelling, surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boards. Diving and deep sea fishing trips can also be arranged at the water sports & dive centre.
