In the North Male Atoll, just a 25 minute speedboat ride from Male, the legendary Baros Maldives is one of the region's iconic resorts. A natural island paradise with swaying palms over pristine white sand beaches and an exquisite lagoon and house reef that can be explored direct from the beach, the emphasis here is on exceptional service and unique guest experiences.
The resort's collection of 75 rustic, thatched villas - beach and overwater, have luxurious furnishings, making it a haven of relaxation. Enchanting culinary adventures form an essential part of a Baros stay - from multiple overwater dining options to bespoke locations such as a gourmet sandbank picnic or a private dinner on the 'piano deck'. Tailored programs also extend to a fine array of water sports and private excursions with the resident marine biologist including coral planting and underwater photo shoots.
Baros Maldives manages to capture the essence of the Maldives with a long history of outstanding service. There are three restaurants available at Baros, each serving the freshest ingredients with a typical Maldivian twist. The chefs here aim to spoil guests, catering to their every need and no request is too big or small. Spend evenings relaxing in one of the two bars, enjoying a cocktail or two after a sumptuos first class meal.
Baros is a true boutique 5* resort in every sense, which will tempt all of your senses.

Review of Baros Maldives
Absolutely stunning. The Maldives is an underwater safari. We swam with Turtles nearly every day of our stay. The highlight for both of us was swimming with the Stingrays. Absolutely incredible.
Resort was amazing and the location was perfect. Service could improve - coming from Palazzo Versace maybe we expected the same level. A lot of the staff in Baros tend to be little talkative and less customer facing.
