The resort offers a range of excellent dining options from casual to more formal choices as well as private dining. A variety of water sports includes snorkelling, kayaks and paddle boards, although motorised activities such as jet-skis and parasailing are not permitted here as it's a marine park. Set beside the pristine Le Chaland beach near the Blue Bay Marine Park, Anantara Iko Mauritius offers a delightful mix of contemporary rooms and suites. Lead-in Garden View Rooms are scattered around the tropical gardens, while Deluxe Ocean View Rooms provide easy access to the white sand and turquoise waters. All offer inter-connecting options, making them an ideal family choice. There are also larger one-bedroom Suites with separate living area, as well as superbly-appointed 2 and 4-bedroom villas.

There are culinary options aplenty at the resort: Horizon, the main restaurant, caters for all tastes with local and international cuisine, daily themed evenings and live cooking stations; the signature restaurant, 'Sea. Fire. Salt', has grills and seafood; and Bon Manzer offers deli options based on organic and sustainable food. The main pool bar opens daily from early until late with live entertainment up to three times a week, while the beach bar is the perfect place for a light bite or a sundowner. For special occasions, a variety of private dining options include the wine cellar and secluded areas on the beach or in the tropical gardens.

For relaxation, the Anantara Spa is an oasis of tranquillity with an array of wellness treatments and traditional hammam. Children are well catered for with a daily activity programme at the Dodo Nest kids club. For the more active, Anantara Mauritius has two tennis courts, a main infinity pool, plus a variety of non-motorised water sports including snorkelling, kayaks and paddle boards. Motorised activities such as jet-skis and parasailing are not permitted here. A round or two of golf can be arranged at several championship courses within just a 30-minute drive, such as Avalon, Ile aux Cerfs and Anahita.
