Tucked away between sea and river with a majestic range of mountains in the background, The Ravenala Attitude is the first 4 star All Suite hotel in Mauritius. Situated along the north-west coast of the island offers a mix of colonial heritage, contemporary design and tropical accents.
The hotel offers 272 suites with 3 room categories. The couples suites are located in the hotel's luxuriant gardens whilst the executive seafront adult suites overlook the Indian Ocean and are situated in the adult only wing of the hotel. These rooms also offer guests access to a private beach and bar-restaurant. The family suites are designed to accommodate families of 4 or 5 members.
All the suites have a balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, plasma TV, telephone, mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe and hairdryer.
There are 10 restaurants at The Ravenala Attitude, 7 of which can be utilised within the 'Dine Around' experience for half board and all-inclusive guests. There is a choice of restaurants to match the mood from tucking into Mauritian fare at Kot Nou, all things meat at The Bistrot, street-food takeaways on the beach at Taba-J or romance at the floating Riviera restaurant.
The hotel offers a wide range of land and nautical activities as well as Ayo Le Dodo mini club for the kids, a special teens' hideout and the spacious spa.
A particularly unique feature of the hotel is its 'Otentik' concept which offers guests an immersion into the culture of Mauritius in local music, cookery, a weekly 'Otentik Bazar' offering local crafts and even an opportunity to dine on 'Otentik Dinner's with locals in their homes.

The Ravenala Attitude property was beautiful and looked very new. We were slightly disappointed with our room, which felt very standard and not as luxurious as we hoped especially coming from Ngala in South Africa.
