Nikki knew she would build her career in the travel industry, having been struck by wanderlust from an early age. With over 20 years of industry experience, having worked for a major airline and independent travel agencies before joining Mahlatini. The specialism of the Mahlatini product portfolio was the biggest draw and, of course, the opportunity to develop expertise while travelling around her favourite continent.

Nikki manages our team of travel experts across all our international offices. Whilst planning remarkable travel journeys for clients is still her greatest passion, she also enjoys nurturing the talent of the newer members and helping to guide Mahlatini in their continued dedication to client service.

Most Memorable Trip

Soaring over the great plains of the Maasai Mara at sunrise in a hot air balloon safari definitely stands out. It's one of those iconic "only in Africa" moments. And when it's topped off with a champagne breakfast, I can't imagine a more perfect start to any day.

Top Travel Tip

I always take a change of clothes in my hand luggage. After navigating airports and planes, I always like taking the chance to freshen up before continuing on my journey. It is also a real lifeline in the unfortunate event of airports misplacing your check-in luggage.

The Best Part Of My Job

I love that no two days are ever the same.  The diversity present from leading an international team means the different personalities make each day feel less like a work day. Whilst always challenging we have an amazing foundation of support and creativity to lean on.
