Rhian's passion for the travel industry was ignited during her time working multiple ski seasons in the Italian Dolomites. Upon returning to the UK, she joined the sales team of the same company, sharing her passion for this spectacular part of the world. She gained invaluable experience in operations and product expansion, swiftly climbing the ranks to become Head of Sales. Yearning for a transition into long-haul travel, Rhian began working for a prominent tour operator, where she honed her expertise across various sales departments over the course of 7 ½ years.

Rhian's extensive destination knowledge and hands-on experience have given her unique insight into what makes a trip truly special and what attributes her clients value most. Rhian's passion for sustainable tourism and personalised travel experiences drive her to create exceptional experiences that her clients will think back on fondly for years to come.

Most Memorable Trip

I have two exceptionally memorable trips. The first, where I trekked through the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal, staying in quaint teahouses and connecting with local families. Another favourite travel memory was witnessing wild elephants bathing in the river at dusk near Munnar in Kerala, a sight I'll never forget!

Top of My Bucket-List

I’ve been fascinated with gorillas ever since watching Gorillas in the Mist as a child. Having studied Rwandan history at university, I would love to visit the beautiful country and experience the culture firsthand.

Favorite Safari Animal

"Any of the big cats, they are just so majestic. Sadly, I didn’t get to see any tigers when I visited India but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for my next visit!"

Sundowner of Choice

"A Pisco Sour, which I first had in the cloud forest in Costa Rica, or a really good sweet Arabic fresh mint tea"

Top Travel Tip

Always travel with a lightweight scarf. It can be used as a blanket if you find yourself feeling cold on a train ride, can protect your shoulders from the sun or can be used to cover your head when entering a temple.

Best Part of My Job

Building relationships with my clients. Delving into their unique wants and needs, then being able to witness their excitement for the bespoke itinerary I've crafted for them is certainly the most gratifying part of my job!
