Stuart has a strong track record in the travel industry, with a career spanning over 20 years. He has held various sales and management roles within the sector, including working for a regional airline and with one of the UK's largest travel agency brands.
After taking a year's sabbatical to fulfil a long-held ambition of an around-the-world trip, Africa worked her magic which meant he barely ventured beyond the Southern Africa region!
Mahlatini provides the perfect work environment to combine Stuart's personal passion for African travel with his extensive professional experience in travel sales.
I've always been a believer in social responsibility and during my time in Cape Town the opportunity arose to assist in the organisation of a charity football day in the Gugulethu township. As part of a mix of international volunteers I helped put together two teams for the match and helped raise vital funds for the community. Lifelong friendships were made at the post-match braai where I sampled some of Africa's finest hospitality.
Being African safari specialists, I love that we can offer multi-centre holidays often consisting of complex travel arrangements. Many people like to twin Cape Town and Winelands with a safari in Kruger National Park. However, as we tailor itineraries to our clients' bespoke wishes, I would recommend flying from Cape Town to Botswana for a truly remarkable safari experience. The country boasts the most wonderful and welcoming people and they are so proud of their country and the incredible wildlife it has to offer. The Okavango Delta in particular is remarkable, and Botswana boasts some of Africa's most exclusive lodges.
From a safari perspective Chitwa Chitwa in Sabi Sands, South Africa. The luxurious lodge overlooks a lake where you can see animals all day from your room which is brilliant. I also love our beach locations. For the serenity and tranquillity of it, I recommend the Four Seasons Resort in The Seychelles. The warm sparkling Indian ocean is the perfect place to go for a relaxing swim.
The unmistakable markings of the leopard make them stand out for me. They're fantastic to photograph too.
Representing the company at the Botswana Travel and Tourism Expo in Chobe in 2016. Having the opportunity to meet so many people from the travel sector who shared my passion for wildlife and conservation was brilliant.
"Stuart was amazing - any questions I had he got back to me right away. I really thought that it was so nice of him to phone me the week before we left to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be booking many more holidays through Mahlatini and would like to deal with Stuart again. Thank you so much for making our family moon a trip to remember for a lifetime."
"Stuart was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. He went above and beyond numerous times for us in every way! Thank you, Stuart, for the honeymoon of our dreams. We only hope we will be lucky enough to go back one day and if we do, will look to you to help us plan it!"
"Stuart was fantastic to work with from the moment I first spoke to him. Stuart was so knowledgeable about all of the places we traveled to and made us feel extremely comfortable about all the places we would be going to. Stuart called to check in a week before our honeymoon and checked back in as soon as we returned. We would book through Mahlatini and with Stuart again in a heartbeat! Thank you for giving us a honeymoon we will never forget!"
