Dar Ahlam, meaning House of Dreams, is a 19th-century kasbah set on the edge of Morocco’s Skoura palm grove. Dar Ahlam embodies the art of slow travel. Conceived by Thierry Tasca as a haven of peace and sensory discovery, this restored adobe kasbah features just 14 suites and a villa surrounded by date palms and fragrant gardens. Interiors blend hand-carved cedar, desert earth tones and minimalist design, reflecting Morocco’s craft traditions with modern restraint.
Dining is central to the experience — no restaurant, no menu, only seasonal dishes prepared daily from local produce and served in ever-changing locations: by the pool, under olive trees, or amid flickering lanterns in the garden.
