Other-worldly, eerily isolated and infinitely vast, Namibia is more than a holiday destination, it's a spiritual journey. Lunar-like landscapes and star-filled skies will undoubtedly inspire moments of divine reflection.
Namibia, quite simply, is all about space - vast unspoilt and dramatic landscapes from desert and coastal wilderness to enormous salt pans, rugged mountains and the lush Caprivi Strip teeming with wildlife.
If you are a keen photographer prepare to become utterly obsessed with Namibia.
Soar above the world's highest sand dunes in a hot-air balloon, trek the rare black rhino or discover the ghostly shipwrecks strewn along the incredible Skeleton Coast, one of the most remote places on the planet.
Whether you choose to explore the expanse of this enormous country via light aircraft or 4x4 self-drive, you will find the terrain diverse and utterly awe-inspiring.
But holidays to Namibia aren't all about landscape, scenery and sunsets - there's also wildlife, culture and adventure. Enjoy game drives through the Etosha National Park, one of the finest reserves on the continent or get to grips with the traditional lifestyles of the San/Bushmen and Himba people. If you want to crank up the adrenalin you can try out dune boarding, skydiving, mountain climbing and horse riding adventures, to name a few.
Honeymooners can secure a remote haven in the luxury camps or lodges we have specially selected. Enjoy romantic vistas of wide open spaces and private, uninterrupted quality time with your special someone.
Namibia's large 'sandbox' opens its gates to families seeking an extraordinary, exciting and educational trip. Get those cameras ready to capture your children's exhilaration as they race barefoot down the largest of sand dunes.

Dear Adam and all at Mahlatini I can't thank you enough for arranging my wonderful trip to Namibia (14 - 20 March 2013) It surpassed my wildest dreams and expectations and I only wish that I could have had longer in that fascinating country. But you had suggested three very different locations which gave an excellent introduction to Namibia. I had three excellent, knowledgeable and passionate-about- their-country guides (Christophe in Kulala Desert Camp, Nester in Damaraland Camp and Rio in Ongava Tented Camp) who were all helpful and sympathetic to my limited mobility. The staff in all three camps were delightful - warm and welcoming and friendly. You did well to suggest the tented camp in Ongava as the level terrain suited me perfectly. And I found it very exciting to hear the lion roaring outside my "tent" during the night! The small Cessnas used to transport me between venues were such fun and I was totally thrilled with the balloon flight from Kulala, majestically rising above the Namib as dawn lit the skies. Loved the "Champagne Breakfast" (pilot John opened the fizz with a sabre!), a sumptuous spread all laid out below the dunes on a crisp tablecloth. Loved the evening tours with my guide and sundowners in some beautiful locations, also with the tablecloths and camp chairs and cold drinks and snacks. I saw wonderful game of every kind, went rhino-tracking, loved the diversity of bird and plant-life. I will certainly recommend your company and if I am lucky enough to find time to visit Namibia again, you will be the first people I call. Best wishes and thank you. This was definitely a holiday to remember! Mahlatini pulled out all the stops, from the excellent choice of venues, to their very efficient and friendly service, they ensured that we didn't have to think of anything! Everything went like clockwork -- we were completely spoiled from the moment we arrived in Windhoek. That's what I call a holiday! Thank you, Mahlatini! We could never have done it without you!Read full trip review
Our honeymoon was very well organised by Mahlatini; met all of our expectations, the standard of the hotels and lodges was fantastic. Loved all the countries we visited - Namibia, Zambia (Vic Falls) and Mauritius - hard to pick out a favourite as they were all great in different ways, but the riverside lodge on Ntwala Island (Caprivi Strip) and the boat safari cruises from it were a particular favourite. Would like to go back to Africa sometime and would definitely consider using Mahlatini again.Read full trip review
