Ai Aiba - The Rock Painting Lodge overlooks the beautiful Erongo mountain range and is set amongst massive granite rock boulders. Guests are drawn here to explore the surrounding area which is rich in historic rock paintings, as well as to hike or walk the many trails in and around the lodge.
Guests are accommodated in 10 thatched chalets containing 20 ensuite twin rooms, each decorated in a unique African style, with private patio offering superb views.
The main area of the lodge contains a restaurant, bar and TV room with an overwhelming panoramic view. The inviting swimming pool and well-kept gardens will provide welcome relief after a long day hiking.
The lodge is an active member of the Erongo Mountain Nature Conservancy. This group is an association of land owners who dedicate themselves to protecting and preserving the unique flora and fauna of the area as well as the magnificent granite landscape of the Erongo Mountains. Wildlife on the farm includes springbok, kudu, oryx, klipspringer, hartmann mountain zebra, giraffe, leopard, brown hyena and many many more.
