With vistas capturing rising mountains and gravel plains, Mowani Mountain Camp is located in beautiful Southern Damaraland. Situated amidst granite boulders and flanked by the Huab and Ugab rivers, the camp exudes a flavour of the area's traditional culture, with the camp holding strong eco-tourism principles and supporting the local community by providing work as guides. These guides will take you tracking desert elephant, mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, klipspringer and if you are fortunate enough even leopard!
The rooms provide great views, particularly the 6 standard view rooms, which boast wonderful hill top vistas. There are also 6 standard rooms and one luxury room, all of which have en suite facilities. For guests wishing for a slightly more intimate experience there are 2 luxury suites on offer. The camp lays great importance on privacy and is sure to provide guests with a tranquil stay.
The main area is comfortable and is constructed from thatch, with a pool and lounge area. This is also serves as the venue for the dining room, where you have the chance to sample the delicious treats on offer from the three course menu.
