With vistas capturing rising mountains and gravel plains, Mowani Mountain Camp is located in beautiful Southern Damaraland. Situated amidst granite boulders and flanked by the Huab and Ugab rivers, the camp exudes a flavour of the area's traditional culture, with the camp holding strong eco-tourism principles and supporting the local community by providing work as guides. These guides will take you tracking desert elephant, mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, klipspringer and if you are fortunate enough even leopard!
The Camp offers luxury tented accommodation with magnificent desert views. Open air en-suite bathrooms and private decks give you great views of Damaraland. The main area is comfortable and is constructed from thatch, with a pool and lounge area. This is also serves as the venue for the dining room, where you have the chance to sample the delicious treats on offer from the three course menu.
