Nunda River Lodge

Set on the banks of the Kavango River, Nunda River Lodge is only two km east of one of the highlights of the Western Zambezi Region, the Popa Falls. The lodge is used as a base to explore the falls as well as Mahango Park. It is also used as a stopover before travelling on to the interior of Namibia, Botswana's Okavango Delta or indeed the Victoria Falls in either Zambia or Zimbabwe.

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere awaits you at the Nunda River Lodge. The main lodge area houses a restaurant, bar, small shop and a great deck form which you can sit with 'sundowner' in hand and watch the sun set over the Okavango river whilst listening to the snorting hippos. The lodge has two accommodation options for guests. You can choose to stay in a traditional Meru Tent built up on wooden decks for a very authentic experience or you could opt for one of their thatched bungalows. Both options have great covered decks overlooking the river so you can spot river game without having to leave the comfort of your room.

Guests can cool down in the lodge's large swimming pool, set amongst a magnificent grassed garden.
