Found in the private Ongava Game Reserve on Etosha National Park's southern boundary, Ongava Lodge overlooks endless plains and an adjacent waterhole, a hotspot for wildlife that come down to drink at its waters. With such close proximity to the national park, Ongava Lodge is ideal for exploring the substantial variety of animals and birdlife that call the park home.
Guests can look forward to excellent accommodation at Ongava, with each of the 14 rooms providing en suite bathrooms, complete with flush toilet and shower as well as overhead fans and air conditioning to keep guests cool in the warm summer months. The rooms are traditionally styled and boast charming glass doors that open out on to a wonderful veranda with views out over the surrounding plains.
The main area sports a quaint thatched roof, which is split levelled and encompasses the dining room and bar and a cosy lounge. Dining affords guests the chance to enjoy the lodge's delicious cuisine out under the incredible star filled sky or on the dining deck. The enticing swimming pool is located adjacent to the main area and is the perfect place to relax between activities. The Ongava Reserve boasts the rarity of both black and white rhino species being present a luxury to all wildlife enthusiasts and anyone with a passion for conservation.
