Small and intimate, Mushara Outpost is located only 10km from Etosha National Park's eastern gate. There are only 8 rooms on offer, boasting a distinctive air of safari chic. Designed in the style of an old farmhouse, the main area of the lodge provides a large veranda that wraps around the building. With high walls and a corrugated iron roof, the building is authentically African, providing guests with warm hospitality and friendly service. However, modern furniture and style grace the building's interior.
The 8 rooms are comprised of wood and canvas, bestowing a true safari feel, complemented by airy neutral colours and large glass doors and windows that provide fantastic views of the surrounding area's natural beauty. En suite bathrooms are open plan and afford guests the luxury of floor to ceiling glass walls in the shower.
Activities from the lodge are focused on game drives and watching the incredible wildlife in the area. Mushara Outpost is situated in its own 2,500 hectare reserve which boasts its own substantial collection of birdlife and wildlife. The pool and shady verandas provide guests the opportunity to escape the sun for a while and the nearby Etosha National Park provides further excellent game viewing.
