Damaraland Camp
Providing guests with perfect outlooks over the endless desert plains and the lofty tors of the Brandberg Mountains, Damaraland Camp is one of Namibia's leading properties. Situated in the Huab River Valley in the Torra Wildlife Conservancy, the camp boasts a strong eco standing, with the camp, for the most part, run and owned by the local community. Its construction is a further reflection of high eco standards with the property combining modern touches with a traditional edge.
Accommodation is raised off of the ground on wooden decking and as such provides spectacular views of the valley. Each of the 10 rooms is mosquito proof and is comprised of a canvas wraparound with thatched roofs. One of these rooms is suitable for families, with two bedrooms on offer. The central area of the camp boasts a large campfire and a comfortable lounge area for relaxing, along with an inviting swimming pool, ideally located next to the camp bar.
Special offer: Stay 6 nights and only pay for 5. This offer is valid until 31 May 2025, excluding 20 December 2024 - 05 January 2025. Honeymoon offer: Save 50% on one partner's accommodation. Holiday to Damaraland Camp
What a beautiful camp! Nicky was our guide and he was absolutely hilarious, on top of having a wealth of knowledge about the land, history and local tribes. Llewelyn the camp manager and Donovan our server were wonderful as well. We truly felt at home and part of the family here.
