Etosha Village
Etosha Village is situated in a private and protected reserve directly adjacent to the Etosha National Park. It is 4.3km from Andersson's Gate (the western entrance of the park) allowing guests to self-drive on day trips to the outstanding waterholes in and around Okaukuejo Camp. Secreted in the surrounding Mopane woodland Etosha Village harks back to a typical Namibian village shape, but with luxuriously modern amenities
The 45 twin-bed rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with air-conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, electronic safe and a sleeper couch for 2 children under 12. All rooms have outside seating and a patio to relax and take in your surroundings. The village also offers guests camping facilities.
The village has a friendly, welcoming feel and the renowned restaurant serves delicious offerings at three separate, distinct seating areas. For a cold drink after the safari there is a bar with satellite TV along with the open bar area with a fire-pit for chillier evenings. For those self-catering there is a well-stocked utility store on site. The village hosts 3 swimming pools, perfect for a dip on those hot Namibian afternoons. The gardens at the village are also ideal for relaxing in while the kids run around and play.
