Okaukuejo Camp
Lying at the western end of the famous Etosha Pan, Okaukuejo Camp is a relatively large property located only 17 km from the southern entrance of the Etosha National Park. The adjacent waterhole is flood-lit and the ideal place for visitors to observe wildlife congregating and interacting at close quarters. Etosha is one of the largest savannah conservation areas in Africa and as such wildlife viewing is second to none.
There are a total of 102 rooms in total, split between 40x double rooms, 30x waterhole chalets 25x bush chalets, 2x family chalets and 5x premier waterhole chalets. Naturally, as the name suggests, the premier waterhole chalets provide excellent views of the waterhole from comfortable double storey accommodation which boast a variety of amenities. There are rooms for every need, with family chalets being spacious and self-catering. All of the rooms possess tea stations and fridges.
Okaukuejo Camp offers various facilities in its main area including a bar area, curio shop, a kiosk, post office and 3 inviting swimming pools, two of which are for adults the third being specifically designed for children. A restaurant serves up meals in buffet fashion and there is also a fuel station and tourist centre on offer. For slightly more adventurous guests camping facilities are on offer.
