Onguma Camp Kala is an ultra-exclusive lodge situated in the private Onguma Nature Reserve bordering Namibia’s Etosha National Park. It is elevated on wooden decks, with panoramic views over one of Onguma’s most beautiful and active waterholes. The lodge features only 4 suites, each with a plunge pool and hot tub, all linked by raised wooden walkways. These can be booked individually, or the lodge can be booked for exclusive use for 8 – 10 guests.
The open-plan suites with seating area are very spacious and private and include a state-the--art air-cooling system. The bathrooms feature a full-size free-standing bathtub and a generous shower. Outside each suite is a private deck with plunge pool and wood-fired hot tub as well as a walkway to a private, shaded sala with a king-size outdoor day bed – perfectly placed for an armchair safari or a ‘sleep out’ under the stars. At the main camp are you can watch the wildlife from numerous vantage points – be it the dining are with show kitchen, the comfortable lounge, the intimate cocktail bar or the beautiful deck, which is sunny by day and warmed by a fire pit at night. Between game drives you can work up a sweat in the gym, while away the hours in the ground-level photographic hide, head to the spa or practice yoga and meditation on the yoga deck.
