Discover Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch

Found in the Southern Kalahari, Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch is an excellent escape from the outside world. Surrounded by rolling red dunes, the highest in the region, the area is shrubby and dotted by small trees, which add character to the dramatic landscape. Literally in the middle of nowhere and 270 km from Windhoek, you are afforded complete desert tranquility and a number of opportunities to grow acquainted with the local people and their culture. There's also a host of habituated wildlife including three cheetahs protected in conjunction with the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Directly on a nearby sand dune stand 4 Dune-Chalets with a breathtaking view in a southwest direction over the Kalahari and its flora and fauna. Another 6 exclusive chalets are located in the valley between the dunes overlooking the Main Lodge. In addition to these chalets are 4 garden rooms in African colonial style. The main guest area is an old farmhouse and features a comfortable lounge, bar, library and dining area. Meals are traditionally African, and there is a swimming pool to cool off in the desert sun.
