The mysterious, misty Skeleton Coast National Park is one of the world's great natural wonders. The stark coastline is famous as the eerie graveyard for huge whale bones, left behind from the days of whale hunting. They are joined by countless shipwrecks which fell afoul of the thick mist that descends along the shoreline. These attractions aside, the Skeleton Coast also has huge sand dunes, populations of Cape fur seals, and flocks of seabirds.
