A luxury lodge offering a unique combination of wildlife, nature and wellness experiences, GocheGanas sits on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape, only 29 kilometres southeast of Windhoek. A descriptive Damara name, meaning "Place of Camel Thorns, abounding with Candle-Pod Acacias" GocheGanas is a 6000-hectare nature reserve with 25 different wildlife species.
GocheGanas has 16 luxurious suites with private timber decks offering uninterrupted views over the Nature Reserve and the vast Auas mountains. A private outdoor shower provides the ultimate natural outdoor experience and night views from the bath via a skylight. GocneGanas provides world-class spa facilities with a heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, Kneipp showers, cave sauna and gym and fitness facilities. Namibian, wellness and vegetarian cuisine can be enjoyed at either the Hilltop Restaurant offering spectacular views over the plains or the Outdoor Restaurant for a truly back-to-nature experience. Themed menus and African-styled BBQs are all offered in the traditional outdoor kraal.

Holiday to GocheGanas
A nice place to end one’s journey and prepare for the trip home. I did take advantage of the Wellness Center and enjoyed it. The food was great, along with the accommodations. This camp does need a little updating, especially with its internet service, which was not available in our lodges and poor…
Our 2 night stay was very pleasant, the food good, the room nice and the staff pleasant. Sitting outside the main area or poolside watching the giraffe graze was a very relaxing way to spend some time. The massage too was very relaxing.
