Built on the banks of one of the channels of the Kwando-Linyanti river system, Nkasa Lupala tented lodge is a perfect choice for those wishing to explore this unique wetland paradise in the eastern Caprivi region, commonly known as Mamili and recently renamed Nkasa Lupala National Park. Attracting those with a sense of adventure, the lodge is a true eco-friendly holiday.

Nkasa Lupala is entirely self-sufficient for electricity and water heating by using solar panels. The owners and managers are an Italian family who constantly endeavour to ensure that the lodge offers a special wilderness adventure whilst the accommodation blends in with the natural surroundings.

Situated on Lupala Island, less than 300m from the Nkasa Lupala National Park border, with no fencing, means that large mammals and other animals will roam freely in the vicinity of the lodge. Offering a Okavango Delta-like environment with wetlands, woodlands and open plains, you will experience a remote wilderness feel. The accommodation offering at Nkasa Lupala is 10 luxury, tree house-like tents constructed out of steel, canvas and wood with proper doors and windows and en-suite bathroom facilities. The main camp area consists of a bar, dining room and lounge facility and this area is linked to the rooms through a network of pathways. This whole area looks out over the river where game is frequently spotted.
