Dwarika's Resort

Dwarika’s Resort is located on a hillside in Dhulikhel, an hour’s drive from Kathmandu. Built on the philosophy of respecting nature and the self, the resort offers guests a complete wellness experience drawing inspiration from Hindu vedic texts, Buddhist medicine, and traditional Himalayan knowledge. All aspects of the resort have been designed to promote positive energy and wellbeing.

The architectural design of Dwarika’s Resort is inspired by it’s natural setting and incorporates the use of traditional local building techniques and materials. Expanding on the philosophy of living close to nature all suites integrate indoor and outdoor living spaces designed to maximise the views. Toiletries are produced in-house at the spa using natural and organic materials. Wellness options abound and in addition to the excellent spa you will find a Himalayan Rock Salt House, sound chambers, a meditation maze, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools .Fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are used across the three restaurants . There are also two bars serving drinks and snacks. Situated at the highest point of the resort, the Gol Lokdham bar has 360 degree views across the valley and to the high mountains. The perfect place to watch the sunset over the Himalaya.
