Dorje's Resort & Spa

Dorje’s Resort is a classy, friendly small resort with incredible views of Phewa lake. Built in a traditional style with locally sourced materials, Dorje’s Resort blends into the hillside. The focus here is on fun, adventure and wellness – getting out into the beautiful landscapes around the resort before returning to be pampered in the spa and very well fed in the restaurant.

The rooms at Dorje’s are set within cottages inspired by the traditional architecture of the region, although very much with a modern twist. All rooms come with king-size beds and views of the lake. The Deluxe Rooms have a balcony overlooking the lake and are more spacious, while the Junior Suites have a bathtub by a floor to ceiling window offering the chance for a soak with a view! The swimming pools are a key feature of the resort and are fabulous, as is the spa with steam and sauna rooms. After busy, active days out hiking, boating or biking, the range of massage treatments are a real bonus. Eating here is first-class – western favourites, local curry dishes, and momos – and is very much farm to table. A drink in the bar overlooking the lake is a must.
