“Mahe has changed a lot over the last 30 years since we originally were there for our honeymoon. Should we be lucky enough to have the opportunity again to return to the Seychelles, we probably would not stay on Mahe for anymore than a couple of nights and that would only be to see the lovely people we made friends with 30 years since. The other two islands we visited were superb giving us both completely different experiences - Bird Island and Silhouette.”

“After having been spoilt at the Hilton Labriz on Silhouette with a beachfront villa. We decided on our return to H Resort that we would ask for an upgrade to a beachfront villa. Again, we had to wait until nearer the check-in time, as although they were aware we were returning at an approximate time accommodations were still not ready. This time it was not such an issue to hang around (compared to when we first arrived at the start of our trip) as we were fairly well rested. Although they gave us a special rate, for various reasons, we can't say we enjoyed our stay in the beachfront villa as much as we did in our junior suite first time round.”

“The experience is second to none, but the accommodation is looking tired and could do with an update, especially the mosquito netting around the beds which was not really sufficient as the mosquitos seemed to creep in through the gaps! All the staff were very polite and helpful and we had some great chats and laughs with them. The food was good and they even made sure I had a gluten free dish every evening for dinner. I have joked with friends that this was a "marmite" experience, you either love it or hate it! Having said that, if we are ever lucky enough to return, we shall do so lovingly (Forget the mozies!)”
