Honeymoon to Kenya, Tanzania & Seychelles

From arranging every transfer to and from the airport, to recommending the beautiful hotels we stayed in and being so easy to work with, it was such an incredible experience. When you are very busy planning your wedding, it is hard to find time to also plan your honeymoon, so thank you for all of your help.

Tanzania
“We stayed in Zanzibar and absolutely loved our hotel. We did a day trip to Nungwi to see the beautiful beaches, and did a walking tour of Stone Town. We made a reservation at Emerson Spice Hotel, which was the best meal we had. It was great having our transfer organized to and from the hotel. The company used was very professional and kind. We had the same driver both times and he gave us some history of Zanzibar.”
Kenya
“Hemingways Hotel was absolutely stunning. The grounds were beautiful and the suites were wonderful. The staff went over and above to help us celebrate our honeymoon, by providing champagne and flowers on the bed. The transfers were very organized and the drivers were wonderful. We did a day trip to Giraffe Centre and the Elephant Orphanage, which was wonderful. The safari was absolutely the highlight of our honeymoon. Kichwa Tembo is very beautiful and the staff were incredible.”
Seychelles
“Seychelles were something out of a magazine. We loved the hotels, the workers and everything about the Seychelles. We hope to return one day soon.”

“It was fantastic and in a great location. The staff were very kind, always remembered our names and provided wonderful service. The rooms were lovely and the pool was beautiful with lots of loungers. We loved the food, especially the samosas!”
Hemingways Nairobi
“This hotel is out of a magazine. The service was incredible and everything about this hotel is magical. I got a wonderful massage at the spa, which was great. The rooms are gorgeous, with a large bathroom, walk in closet and a massive balcony. The staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon.”
Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
“This was the highlight of our honeymoon. We had Kima as our game drive guide and he had worked there for 15 years. He was so knowledgeable and always knew exactly where to bring us to see all the Big 5. The tents were beautiful. The first two nights we were in a regular Superior Tent, and the second two nights we were in a superior tent with view. The superior tent with view was absolutely amazing and spectacular. Kevin, the server in the restaurant went above and beyond to make us feel special and to help us celebrate our honeymoon. He arranged a special dinner set up on the grounds with lots of candles and lights, it was very nice. All the staff knew our names and called us by name while we were there. On one of our game drives we got to see a lion kill a Zebra. Our guide said it might have been the best kill he's ever seen. It was absolutely incredible. I legit cried when we had to leave the Masai Mara. The memories will last a lifetime and I hope to return one day to Kichwa. We felt so blessed to be on the safari.”
STORY Seychelles
“Absolutely stunning. I felt like I was in a tropical rainforest. The rooms were beautiful, restaurants were so delicious and the pool area was great. We loved being on the beach and walking all the way down to find lunch at one of the restaurants along the beach. We did a day trip around the island and saw some really great viewpoints.”

“Out of a magazine. The staff were incredible and the food was delicious. We golfed one morning and visited all of the incredible beaches. We did a day trip to La Digue and rented bicycles. The travel company Mahlatini used in the Seychelles was wonderful to work with and great with coordinating all transfer.”

I think I asked her to change the itinerary 20 times, but she did it happily. It was an incredible experience and we have Claire to thank for her hard work at planning this honeymoon.
