The country was diverse and stunning. People were friendly and helpful which made the trip a lot easier along our long drives. We are looking forward to exploring much more of this amazing country.”

Botswana

“We loved our time in Botswana. We were not there very long but we were very well taken care of at Kasane Airport (which was new and beautiful) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nxabega. Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The lodge really made us feel special. Each meal was expertly prepared and delicious. We saw tons of animals and watched some truly exceptional sunsets.”

“Camp was beautiful and we got to see a leopard which was great. The property was beautiful and the work that they are doing there is very necessary. The only issue is that we were given two beds instead of one which is odd while on a honeymoon. Staff was very friendly and food was great.”

Grootberg Lodge

“Beautiful setting on the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley. Our Rhino trek was not great as we were out in the sun for 11 hours and didn't get to see a Rhino or many other animals. Maybe they should shorten it a bit... The views were out of this world and watching the sunset over the gorge with a drink was wonderful. The food was fine, but the number of options could be increased. Some of the staff seemed bothered to be there. The staff sang some songs during dinner that went on quite a long time. Many one or two songs would be better instead of 45 minutes. We would still recommend this lodge to others as the view was just out of this world.”

Shipwreck Lodge

“Best hotel I have ever stayed in. I was looking forward to this lodge very much and it really just blew my expectations out of the water. Everyone was so friendly and the activities were amazing. The lodge was beautiful and felt so remote and rugged. Food was great and drinks were too. The dedicated guide was a great touch. This hotel was truly a one of a kind experience and we loved every second of it!”

Sossusvlei Desert Lodge

“Stunning setting, just plain stunning. This lodge was absolutely beautiful after their renovations. The views when you wake up in the morning were just amazing and the lodge felt perfectly luxurious. The trip to Sossusvlei was great and we had so much fun with our guide. The cool towels that were kept on hand were a great touch and helped in the heat. The food at this lodge was the best of the entire trip. They went out of their way to create some great dishes that showed the specialties of the area with influence from outside the region. Would go back here in a heartbeat.”

River Crossing Lodge

“Great location for an early flight out of Windhoek. Hotel was nice, great view from the main lodge and good food.”

“Big hotel outside of the main Vic Falls town. Great place to watch the sunset and view the open land surrounding the lodge. The watering hole was great to watch during the day and the pool was very nice.”

Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp

“Amazing experience. So many animals roaming right around the camp at all times which was very exciting. The main lodge was beautiful and the pool overlooking the watering hole was a great place to relax. We loved the food and how they made each dinner different and special. The game drives were amazing and our car was not overcrowded which was really great. We got to see so many animals and the sundowners were just beautiful in the middle of the delta. This lodge went out of their way for their guests and it showed. Only setback was the weather was HOT!”
