Honeymoon to Kenya & Seychelles
Eleanor Watkins, 2nd June 2021It is 100% true what they say, Africa changes your life. It is such a beautiful and diverse continent and we have only seen the tip of the iceberg! We returned home with so many unforgettable memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It is now our mission to send as many loved ones as we can to Africa so they can experience the vast amount of beauty and culture that the continent has to offer.

“Kenya is an unbelievable country. Our only regret is not being able to spend more time in Nairobi as we would have loved to experience the city a bit more. Each person we met greeted us with such kindness and had a vast amount of knowledge regarding the history of Kenya. To experience Kenyan hospitality is truly remarkable and something I wish we could replicate back in the States!”
Seychelles
“What a gorgeous island. The water was crystal clear and the most stunning shades of blue. You immediately feel at ease upon arrival as there seems to be no stress on that island (at least while you are on holiday!) and the beaches are absolutely stunning.”

Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
“We will never be able to put into words how incredible our stay was at Kichwa Tembo. Our guide, Fred, really made the trip exceptional as he worked so hard to show us everything he could during our time at the camp. Not only did he show us the animals of the Mara, but he was so knowledgeable about the land and its history and you really felt like you were diving into a book when he spoke of a certain animal or part of the Mara. When I told him that I want to see baby animals, he took that to heart and ensured I saw as many babies as possible which meant so much to me. Each day kept getting better and better and it was thanks to his hard work and dedication to making this the best experience possible for us. We also enjoyed socializing with other andBeyond staff members and could not have been in better hands. Bridget and Simon took great care of us and made sure each meal was perfect and our room was kept as cozy as possible. We are so thankful to Kichwa Tembo and I know we will be back!”

“We so wish we could have stayed here longer. The property is absolutely stunning and our room was fit for a King and Queen! The staff was exceptional, especially George who drove us to the airport at 1:45 AM! We will certainly be back to experience more of Nairobi and we will be sure to stay at Hemingways!”

“This is a beautiful property and our room with a pool chalet was to die for. The waves crashing in on the rocks was the most relaxing sound imaginable and we spent each day at the beach just enjoying the pool and beautiful ocean. I was able to finish 6 books during our stay and have never relaxed so much in my life!”

“Where do we even begin with Caroline, she has been incredible! From the very start, she made sure our trip was perfectly tailored to our needs and also as romantic as possible given it was our honeymoon. She gave us several options in Kenya and the Seychelles so we could decide what worked best for us and ended up creating the perfect itinerary. She also navigated the everchanging Covid restrictions so well and made sure we were prepared with tests/vaccination cards/health declarations prior to our arrival so we wouldn't run into any issues. She made us feel like we were her only clients given the great level of detail she provided us and periodically checked in with us throughout our trip to ensure everything was going according to plan and we were happy with our stay. We will be utilizing her as we plan more trips back to Africa as we know we will be in such great hands. Thank you, Caroline!!”
