Honeymoon to South Africa & Seychelles
Katelin Gorski, 26th September 2021This trip could not have been better. Caroline took care of everything and did not forget a single detail. Travel was as easy as it could be given the current COVID protocols. Each property we stayed at had its own kind of beauty, and we spent the full two weeks feeling pampered, relaxed, and just enjoying each other on our honeymoon. This trip was the perfect balance of active adventure and calm relaxation. I could not possibly say more good things.

“Truly a beautiful island. Each person we dealt with was so nice, and did everything they could to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Story is a beautiful resort with great food options, beautiful facilities and excellent snorkeling right off the beach. We typically spent our days relaxing by the pool with great cocktails before either going for a hike, snorkeling or experiencing other beauty on the island. We would love to return, as it is obvious there is excellent scuba diving, and having been certified for 20 years, it is something I wish I thought to build into our time.”
South Africa
“We cannot say enough good things about South Africa. We truly would go back tomorrow if we could. Capetown is breathtaking from every angle. We have traveled a good bit but can truly say that Cape Town possesses everything we typically look for in a trip and more. We were able to sightsee and enjoy a fantastic city while also being surrounded by fantastic nature and hiking. All of the food we ate was fantastic, and the people were some of the nicest we have ever encountered on our journeys.”

This hotel has excellent beach access and a gorgeous pool. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurants vary in types of food, but all were delicious.
We would love to return, as it is obvious there is excellent scuba diving, and having been certified for 20 years, it is something I wish I thought to build into our time.”

“We only spent one night here, but honestly loved it. After a long day of travel, this hotel was extremely convenient and comfortable. They welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and a few pastries for our honeymoon. We took advantage of room service for dinner and breakfast the following morning and it was very good as well. The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful.”

“BEAUTIFUL hotel! The views from our sea-facing room were unbeatable. This hotel has two gorgeous pools as well as a nice little nature trail to walk around. The restaurants were excellent (especially the leopard bar) with beautiful views to take in a sunset during happy hour. The concierge was an excellent asset, as he was able to help us schedule a last minute tour we had not previously considered doing. There was also a shuttle that conveniently took us just about wherever else we wanted to go.”

“This was probably the most beautiful (and that is saying a lot, as all of the hotels were amazing) place we stayed on our trip. A small bed and breakfast in the vineyards with multiple relaxing pools, hot tubs and other spa facilities. Our room was a small cottage that could not have been more comfortable/ relaxing. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and then surprised with a gorgeous set up for dinner, as the staff set a romantic candlelit table for us for our honeymoon on our first night. From this hotel, we were able to walk to two different wineries (a bit of a long walk, however they did accommodate us with a ride when we inquired on day 2), and were in close proximity to several more. We truly felt removed from all stressors and the hustle of daily life here.”

“Caroline and the rest of the staff at Mahlatini were AMAZING. Caroline paid so much attention to detail making our trip as easy and stress free as possible. She was extremely easy to get in contact with and answered all questions/ emails promptly. We had one small snag on the first leg of our trip, and she took care of it within 10 minutes. Everything from airport transfers, to hotel accommodations, was perfectly thought out and planned and catered exactly to what we wanted on this trip. We are already planning a second trip using Mahlatini again, and could not say more positive things about them. I will recommend to anyone I know looking to travel this area.”
