Honeymoon to Kenya & Tanzania
Joseph Robertson, 11th October 2022Fantastic honeymoon experience! We looked at a few options before booking our honeymoon but after a call with Steve we were sold on Mahlatini! His knowledge of the properties and recommendations on what to do were fantastic and everything ran so smoothly - we barely had to think about what we wanted or needed to do for 2 weeks because it was all so well planned out.

“As a "transfer" hotel - this was perfect. Great location between Nairobi International and Wilson Airport. The room was very nice and the hotel was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was great too!”

“Is there a score higher than 5 stars? The staff were incredible and so hospitable. The location and views were absolutely stunning and the rooms were fantastic. Outdoor showers with that view is an unbelievable experience. The amenities in such a remote location were world class and the food was exceptional.
Some people may be put off by the bumpy drive to the camp, but we loved it and it's well worth the journey!”

“The Mara is very different to Samburu, but equally as welcoming and beautiful in its own right. The team were so hospitable and we had a wonderful 3 nights here seeing more wildlife than we thought was possible! The rooms were so comfortable and all of the little details were spot on. The communal dining table was a great way to catch up with other guests after a long day of bush drives!”

“This hotel was stunning and the service and attention to detail were fantastic. You could easily spend all day sitting on your room's balcony in the hammock, which was a shame because there was so much to do! The concierge can sort out any number of trips or excursions and there was so much to see and do that a week wasn't enough! It was the perfect way to spend the second half of our trip, relaxing and eating and drinking far too much!”

“Steve was so helpful and knowledgeable, not only about the locations and hotels but about all aspects of our trip. When we first spoke to him we had no idea where we wanted to go and he built a bespoke itinerary based on our interests and what he thought we would enjoy. He absolutely nailed it. Having someone that has been to all these places before was so helpful as he gave us genuine personal advice on what to look out for and do. He kept us up to date on everything we needed to prepare and we could not recommend him enough!
