Adventure Holiday to Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda
Mark Finch, 11th October 2022Trip was amazing. Wonderful having folks meet us and never being alone. As our flight travel was independent no one met us at Kenya Immigrations when we arrived and we wish it was different as we were in line for literally 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was difficult after flying for 20 hours. We did not fully understand the tipping and wished we did. If anything I think we over-tipped as we were told approximately $800.00 for tipping and we spend well over $1,200.00 For Example for the Gorilla guides, is it $15.00 each guide regardless of the number of guides or $15.00 total regardless of the number of guides - this was not clear to us.

“We were spoiled by the lodges we stayed at before staying at the tent camp. The staff was superb in making sure my CPAP machine worked, which it did. We have no faults at all with this tent camp just again we had been spoiled by the previous lodges. The singing shower was rather unique and we wish there was an electric hair dryer. But no real complaints. We were well taken care of.”

“Claire was just great and did a wonderful job for our trip of a lifetime. Always ready to answer any of questions and concerns, gave us great suggestions for packing. Brian with Adventure Consult in Uganda and Richard were superb and gave us very personal care and knew all the places to go. Would highly recommend to our friends and family. Only disappointment part was the "Rum Runner" was not available in all / most lodges. My wife (Denise) rarely drinks and she was very much looking forward to the one and only drink she enjoys.”
