Honeymoon to Kenya & Seychelles
Roger Moule, 1st November 2022It truly was the trip of a lifetime! All of Mahlatini's choices on our behalf and recommendations were impeccable. Our safari in Naboisho Conservancy was magical and our stay in the Seychelles was dreamy. We were looked after by the kindest and most helpful people everywhere we went. When flights were cancelled outside of Mahlatini's control, Donna immediately leapt into action and sorted out an alternative route with no drama. Thank you Mahlatini for surpassing all of our expectations and organising a memorable and beautiful honeymoon for us.

Tamarind Tree Hotel
“We were upgraded to a clean, spacious and inviting room for our first night in Kenya. Breakfast out on the terrace was lovely and staff could not have made more effort. The only slight issue we experienced was with room service, which took a long time to arrive and was also not the correct order the first time. That said, it was late at night and we should/could have gone to the hotel's 24 hour restaurant for more efficient service instead; and it didn't impact our stay overall.”
Ol Seki Hemingways Mara
“We met a family in Kenya who said that out of the 20 safaris they had been on, this was the best. This was our first safari but it's hard to imagine a better way to experience Naboisho Conservancy than by staying at Ol Seki Hemingways. Our Nina (tented bungalow) was huge, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar, restaurant, terrace and pool areas were all great places to hang out every day and enjoy exceptional food and wildlife-watching. None of the staff could have done a better job and nothing was too much trouble. Patrick and Benjamin our guides in particular ensured we had a safari to remember forever.”

“The most attentive service and attention to detail we have experienced anywhere in the world. Our room was huge, very comfortable and clean. The grounds at Hemingways Nairobi were really beautiful - it was such a calming experience to walk through them each day and look out over them as we ate on the hotel terrace. Food and drinks always arrived quickly and tasted fantastic. Our tour of Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Sanctuary was a wonderful continuation of our safari experience and our guides were a massive help. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who gave us the most genuine and warm welcome in Nairobi.”
Carana Beach Hotel
“Carana Beach's location was perfect - a quiet and stunning bay difficult to access by anyone not staying at the hotel, which gave it an intimate and exclusive feel. Our bungalow and private pool were calming, comfortable and clean. We equally loved reading and relaxing on our bungalow terrace overlooking the sea, and enjoying a delicious cocktail by the hotel pool. Our day trip on marine safari and visiting the giant tortoises was incredible; our whole stay was a once in a lifetime experience.”
