Holiday to South Africa
Donna Smith, 4th May 2024We had a wonderful time in South Africa. The 3 properties we stayed at were amazing. We were well taken care of by the staff and especially our butlers. The animal viewing was breathtaking. Our guides and trackers did a wonderful job in finding and giving us information regarding all the animals we were able to find.

“Beautiful property. The staff was polite and courteous and took good care of us. The room was very nice. The breakfast was good. A nice place to relax after a long plane ride to start our safari adventure.”

“Beautiful accommodations. The staff took very good care of us, especially our butler. Our room was large with air conditioning. There was also a large bathroom and outdoor pool. The food was good. Our guide, Andrew, was great. He was very informative. Our tracker was able to find many animals to view.”

“Wonderful accommodations. Our butler, Treasure, took fantastic care of us. Our room was large with a very large bathroom that had an outdoor shower with a sandy area. We also had air conditioning. The food was good. Our guide and tracker were good. We were able to see the white lions that I had especially wanted to see when we came to South Africa. We saw an adult white lion and a baby white cub. It was fantastic. We also saw a rhino with a baby. We saw a leopard that had killed a baboon in a tree. A special event at the pool was that elephants, both large ones and babies, came to the pool every day several times to drink water out of the pool. You could get very close to them and photograph them.”

“Fantastic accommodations. We were well taken care of by the staff. The cottage rooms were good. They were smaller than the other 2 lodges with no bathtubs. The food was excellent. The lodge had a more intimate feel to it. There were not as many rooms. Our guide, Callum, was fantastic. He was kind and had so much information about the area and the animals we came across. We saw so many lions, many leopards and 4 wild dogs, which was very special. He did his best to find animals that we were wanting to see.”

“This was the second time Steve arranged our trip to Africa. He always provided us with the things we wanted to do and see. He always answered our questions very promptly. We were well taken care of at every step of our trip and were met and assisted upon arrival at each location. Steve provided us with the best accommodations at each location. He checked to make sure we arrived in Africa safely and offered assistance if we needed him. All the information provided by the Mahlatini team was right on.”
